I've been super busy lately with different projects, Here they are
-Custom making a karate belt rack
-painting a toddler bed
-Upholstering a 50's couch, literally from the 50's or 60's (they used a lot of burlap)
I have one picture of the karate belt rack. It's a little blurry from my phone and it has glass, so you have the glare from that.
Here is the couch that I'm working on, I'm just waiting to get the fabric! Can't wait to see how it turns out!!!
toddler bed picture will come soon!!!

Table Runner
Have you ever wondered how to make a table runner? Well, I have just completed one and I'm ready to show and tell!
My wonderful client wanted a table runner to match her awesome chairs and so of course I said it wouldn't be a problem and went to work (This was after I finished the chairs)
Here is a little drawing to show you the size it needed to be
After I cut out the top and bottom portion I began pinning the piping in between the top and bottom, inside out. Here is a picture to show you
Once I did that, I then put it back right side in and folded the bottoms to make a point. then sewed it together. Sorry I don't have a picture of that part. I think overall, it was a pretty simple project and my clients loved it!
Blue Seat Cushions
About a month ago I was able to sale my Blue Club Chair to a friend of mine and because of this beautiful chair, she wanted me to do her dining room seat cushions in the same fabric. I have to admit that I love this fabric because it is so easy to work with. It's just suede but it's fantastic!!!!
Anyway, here is the before and after

Office Chairs
These were done for a client that wanted to use them for her office. When she bought them they didn't come with a board bottom so I had to start from scratch. Here are the results, pictures of chairs at the office will follow soon! :)

Wing Chair
This has been a month in the making!!!! When I first started this project I didn't know that I was going to run into problems. Many lessons learned but I'm finally pleased with the results. So true story....took 9 hours to take off all of the original fabric and it took a total of 3 days stretched out in a 3 week period to finish. make sense?
Lesson one learned: listen to other people that have reupholstered! I read a post from All Things Thrifty about leaving the original fabric on the arms of the chair. I however took mine off and had a WONDERFUL time trying to get it back one. again, lesson learned. Next came the cushion seat. I swear that was going to be the death of me. But I finally got it taken care of and I think it looks pretty good. So some wonderful comments would be soooooo appreciated!!! Thank you! now enjoy the fruits of my labor!

Beautiful Black and blue chair
I think I've loved this the most out of all the furniture transformations I've done. I saw a post from All Things Thrify about tufting and always wanted to do one, Then I found this baby! It was a lot of work trying to figure out how to take apart and put back together and I ran into some obstacles, but managed to pull through. I think I'm going to be using this chair to take some pictures of my kids before I sell it. Comments would be wonderful!

Shabby Chic Chair
I completed this a couple of weeks ago and sent it off to a local consignment store to sell. I love seeing the transformation because it makes such a difference to see everything that has been accomplished. Let me know what you think!
