Beautiful Black and blue chair
I think I've loved this the most out of all the furniture transformations I've done. I saw a post from All Things Thrify about tufting and always wanted to do one, Then I found this baby! It was a lot of work trying to figure out how to take apart and put back together and I ran into some obstacles, but managed to pull through. I think I'm going to be using this chair to take some pictures of my kids before I sell it. Comments would be wonderful!

Shabby Chic Chair
I completed this a couple of weeks ago and sent it off to a local consignment store to sell. I love seeing the transformation because it makes such a difference to see everything that has been accomplished. Let me know what you think!

Buffet Table
My husband found this at a local thrift store for $70 and we have been using it as a tv stand for a while. I didn't really like the handles and have wanted to change it for sometime. I was finally able to do it this weekend and love the results. I feel the pictures don't really do it justice but I love it anyways. If you can't tell, the color chosen was Burgundy with a black glazing for the edges. I also found the knobs at target. Let me know what you think!

Dresser has been sold
Less than 24 hours after it was posted, it has been sold. It was a great piece and I'm sad to see it go like so many other ones.
Side Table
I don't have any before pictures because this was one of the first things I bought that I wanted to refinish and forgot about taking a before picture. For this project I decided to just paint it black and keep the original handle because I was having a hard time finding anything to fit it. For some reason they made the side 2 1/2" and the standard is 3" (meaning between screws). Enjoy the picture!

Dresser-Before and After
I loved this project! I've had this dresser for about 3 years. I found it at a thrifty store after we moved to our current area and I've been wanting to do something different to it for a while. So for this project, I decided to use a Ivory color and create a distressed look because the of the Queen Anne style with the detailing and curves of the legs.
Here is the before
And here is the after
A close up of the distressed detail
So guess what! This sweet puppy is for sale! If you are interested in adding this beautiful piece into your home please email me at potentialtreasures@gmail.com

Pillow
I made my first pillow. I feel pretty proud of myself because for the life of me, I have a hard time sewing a straight line. luckily, I did really good this time. I can't wait to do more. Here is the picture.
Side note: I know it doesn't match the chair. I have another chair that I made it for, I will try to get pictures of it together.

Shabby Chic Coffee Table
I love this project! I found this beautiful coffee table at my local thrift Store (Deseret Industries) for $10. I decided with this project to do a Shabby Chic look. First came the sanding because the thin layer of veneer was coming off, then came the primer and then the color. The color I used was Blue Ocean Breeze from Krylon. After that I did the glazing idea again from All Things Thrifty
I applied the glazing to the top and in the details of the top and legs and that was it. I was able to sell to a very nice lady in my area and was sad to see it go because it turned out so good. Hope you enjoy the before and after pictures!
